Consider an isotropic composite in which the spherical particles are silica with an elastic modulus of 80 GPa and a polymer matrix with an elastic modulus of 4 GPa. Determine the modulus of the composite for an inclusion fraction of 20% by volume as well as 5% by volume. Compare your results with the Voigt and Reuss models. Comment on your results.
