A signal is bandlimited to 12 kHz. The band between 9 and 12 kHz has been corrupted by excessive noise to the point that the information within this band is nonrecoverable. Determine the minimum sampling rate for this signal so that the uncorrupted portion of the band can be recovered. If we filter out the corrupted spectrum prior to sampling, determine the minimum sampling rate.
