A box stands against the wall of a cylinder that is rotating. The cylinder has a radius of 30cm. Mass of the box is 0.033kg and the static friction coefficient between the box and the cylinder is 0.50 and the kinetic friction is 0.20.

a) Free body diagram of the box considering the fact that it doesn't slip

b) What is the minimum consant speed (magnitude of linear velocity) the box must move so it doesn't slip?

c) Angular velocity in rpm of the cylinder under conditions of part B?

d) Linear acceleration of the cylinder?

e) Assuming the angular velocity is half the one you calculated, would the box slip? How owuld the free body diagram look now?

f) magnitude of linear acceleration of the box according to part e?
