Determine the microstructure for eutectoid steel that has undergone the following heat treatment. For each heat treatment you may assume that you start with austenite at 760ºC. a) Rapidly cool to 625ºC, hold for 10sec, then quench to room temperature b) Rapidly cool to 600ºC, hold for 4sec, rapidly cool to 450 ºC, hold for 10 s, then quench to room temperature c) Rapidly cool to 665ºC, hold for 1,000 sec, then quench to room temperature. d) Rapidly cool to 350ºC, hold for 150 sec, then quench to room temperature.
