A mass m = 3 kg is hanging from an ideal string which is passed over a fixed, frictionless pulley and then is attached to the upper end of a vertical spring whose lower end is fixed to the floor. When the system is at rest, the spring is stretched a distance of 15 cm. The mass is now raised a distance of 30 cm from that point and then dropped from rest. The gravitational field is 10. 0 N/Kg.

A] What is the maximum stretch of the spring?

B] What is the maximum speed of the mass and where does that occur?
