You are trying to land your spaceship upon an unknown planet. As you descend vertical towards the surface of the planet you note that you experience a downward acceleration of 0.15 m/s2 when your engines are providing 6850 N of upward thrust. In order to maintain a stable speed of descent you have to increase the upward thrust to 7955 N.

a) Find the weight of the spaceship?

d) After exploring the surface, you prepare for vertical liftoff. You need to travel a distance of 58 kilometer in a time of 11 minute before you run out of fuel. Find what minimum constant magnitude of thrust must the engines provide?
