An oil drilling operation has requested a machinery fluid F containing 86.0% lubricant, 8.0% corrosion control, and 6.0% detergent for its drilling rigs. You plan to produce the fluid by recycling two existing machinery products. Product A contains 95.0% lubricant and 5.0% corrosion control. Product B contains 78.0% lubricant, 18.0% corrosion control, and 4.0% detergent. To raise the detergent level in the blend to the required level, a commercially available mixture M containing 60.0% detergent and 40.0% lubricant are added. In this blending process, the amount of Product A is limited; only 500 kg of Product A is available. Use the systematic solution approach for mass balance problems to determine the mass (in kg) of the requested machinery fluid (F) that can be produced, and the required mass (in kg) of one of the existing machinery products (B) and the mixture (M).
