A 1.6664g antimalarial tablet contains the compound quinine. the tablet is dissolved in 0.1 M HCl to give 500 mL of solution. A 15.00 mL ALIQUOT OF THIS SOLUTION IS THEN DILUTED WITH 100.00 mL of acid and fluorescence of this sample is measured. The sample gives a signal of 288 units at 347.5 nm. A standard sample containing 100 ppm quinine is measured under the same conditions and gives a signal of 180 units. Determine the mass of quinine in the tablet.
