An inductive load that draws 23 kW of power and 150 A ofcurrent is connected in parallel with another inductive load thatdraws 60 kW at 200 A. The combination is connected to a 600 Vsource.
(a) Make a table showing each load and itscomplex power.
(b) Determine the total complex power andthe overall power factor.
(c) Determine the magnitude of the totalcurrent supplied by the 600 V source
(d) If a capacitor is added in parallel toincrease the overall power factor to 0.9 lagging,determine the reactive power of the capacitor.
