Ultrasound intensity level: Beta = 10Log (I2/I1), I1 and I2 = intensity at different locations/times An ultra sound signal is sent under sea water (v=1530m/s) to detect the location of an object. It takes 2.45msec for the signal to return to the detector(at the same location as the signal source). Determine the location of the object from the source. The intensity of the signal spreads out according to the distance the signal traveled. Determine the ratio of the received signal to the sent signal for the situation described in the previous part. Determine the intensity level for this situation.
