Determine the latent heat of fusion of ethyl alcohol using the following calorimeter data: 50.0 grams of solid ethyl alcohol at its melting point of -114oC is placed in a 350 gram aluminum calorimeter with 400 grams of water at 20.0oC; the resulting equilibrium temperature is 9.82oC. The specific heat of ethyl alcohol is 2.40 k J kg*C. The specific heat of aluminum is 900 J kg*C.
