A coiled tungsten wire of diameter 50um and length 10cm is glowing at a temperature of 2000°C within an evacuated light bulb. Determine the irradiance of the filament and the fraction of irradiance within the visible range of wavelength. If we consider the radiation outside the visible range is wasted, how much energy is wasted if this light bulb is kept on for a period of 6 hours?
