a. If 30% of the sun's light is lost to scattering and absorption by the atmosphere, determine the intensity of blue light
i) transmitted through the ocean surface, and
il) 15 m past the ocean surface along the direction of propagation.
Hint: for (a), assume that the total reflection of radiation by the ocean surface is represented as the average of that at horizontal and vertical linear polarization.
