A block m = 0.5 kg with an initial temperature of 22 Co slides along with an initial velocity (vi) when it encounters a rough surface, the block stops after traveling some distance due to the rough surface. When the block comes to rest its temperature has increased to 24 Co. Assume that the specific heat capacity of the block is c = 140 J/kgCo and all the energy goes into heating the block, what is the initial velocity of the block?
