Solve the all parts of following question:

Question: The person shoots at the basket. Your job is to investigate whether or not he makes the basket. Print the following picture. Assume that the picture is to scale. The only dimension you know is that the basket is 10 ft high. Everything else must be scaled (use a ruler and a protractor). Assume that the ball leaves his hands at the angle he is holding his arms. Make your measurements, mark the dimensions on the picture and turn the picture in as part of the work.

Part A: Determine the initial velocity of the ball. Sketch the trajectory. Determine if he makes the basket.

Part B: If he does not make the basket, determine where on the hard surface the ball lands.
