Determine the implementation process

Implementation process - The implementation process started out to be formal and ended being informal/almost nonexistent. At first, a meeting with selective members was held, then an e-mail notice was sent to the entire organization, and then a town hall meeting was held to address the plan to everyone. Progress reports and employee involvement were promised. However, that was never done. With no collaboration or updates, employees felt disconnected and uninterested. If reward allocation were inserted here, motivation to perform would come naturally (Cummings, 2009, ch. 11, p. 206). Maybe then the employees would have a vested interest.

Please, comment on what could have been done here and how they can better their implementation process.
