A 6 foot diameter pipleine carries water at a temperature at 60F at a steady flow rate of 60 cubic feet per second. The pipeline makes a 90 degree horizontal bend. The pressure at the beginning of the bend is 80 pounds per square inch. The pressure at the end of the bend is 78 pounds per square inch. Determine the horizontal components of the forces necessary to hold the bend in place. Show all work and steps.
