A 2.3 kg block is on a horizontal plane without friction compressing a recovery spring of 1.0 kN / m 8.0 cm. When the block is released it advances along the horizontal plane and finally rises on an inclined plane θ = 30 °. The coefficients of kinetic and static friction are 0.20 and 0.30 respectively. Determine the height h that the block will reach on the inclined plane. Will the block remain at rest once it has reached this height?
