The health of the terrestrial ecosystem is paramount to the success of the food production industry and the individual farmer. How can prevention strategies be utilized to assure the health of food production as well as the health of the terrestrial ecosystem as a whole? (This assignment is due by Day 7 of Week 3.)

Objectives: Create a live lecture with a PowerPoint , Voki or a Prezi presentation to share at an upcoming meeting in your hometown.  The following are all options on how to add voice to your presentation.  Please note that the Live Lecture is required to receive full credit for this assignment.

Assignment Requirements

• What main factors determine the health of a terrestrial ecosystem? 
• How can the local landholders and public policy contribute to preventing the degradation of the terrestrial ecosystem? 
• What effects can these prevention strategies have on food production, the individual landholder, and the terrestrial ecosystem as a whole?
• As part of your discussion, use examples of at least two specific issues affecting terrestrial ecosystems and explore their importance to the ecosystem and to food production. You also need to include a current event related to your examples.
• Include visual aids, and at least one out-link to a video
• Also share sites where the public can find credible sources of information on this topic.
• 2 refercnes in APA format are a must
