A 3-kg block is pulled along a FRICTIONLESS surface with a force of 42N. It is attached to 1-kg block on the same surface by a weightless string. Just inside the 1-kg block (between the 3-kg and 1-kg blocks but not attached to either) is a 2-kg block. What is the force exerted on the 2-kg block by the 1-kg block?
