A closed, rigid tank contains 5 lbm of a two phase mixture of water initially at 260°F with a quality of 0.6. Heat transfer to the contents of the tank occurs until the temperature is 320°F. Determine the following: (a) pressure (psi) at each state (b) mass of vapor present at each state (kg) (c) Show states 1 and 2 on a T-v diagram (d) Show states 1 and 2 on a P-v diagram (e) If heating continues, determine the temperature when the pressure is 100 psi.
