A smooth concrete pipe (1.5-ft diameter) carries water from a resevoir to an industrial treatment plant 1 mile away (5280 ft) and discharges it into the air over a holding tank. The pipe leaving the resevoir is 3 ft below the water's surface and runs downhill on a 1:100 slope. Determine the flow rate Q in ft^3/s if water temp is 40 F (or 4 C), neglect minor losses.
