Problem: A well-insulated rigid container contains two 10 L compartments initially at 300 K. Each compartment contains argon gas. The compartments are separated by a well-insulated piston that is held in place by a restraining pin. One compartment is initially at a pressure of 1 bar and the other is at 5 bar. After the pin is removed, the piston moves, but no heat is transferred through the piston.

Part A: Determine the final temperature, pressure and volumes of each compartment.

Please show work and explain each step to find the final temperature, pressure and volumes.
