A completely sealed elastic balloon contains a gas of unknown type where the initial volume and pressure are 0.7 m3 and 120 kPa, respectively. A process occurs causing the balloon to expand according to the polytropic relationship: Eq. 1) PV^(1.8)=constant. It is known that the total boundary work during the process is 40 kJ out of the system. Based on the given information determine the final pressure and volume (kPa, m3 ).
