Your company manufactures defibrillators and you wish to determine the failure rate. You design a test where you'll operate the defibrillators for up to 1000 hours (depending on if any fail before then). The results are that one unit failed at 200 hours, a second unit failed at 500 hours and the other three units operated successfully for the entire 1000 hour test.
