A theater has a monopoly on the right to show movies in the town of Kuopio. For its feature film of the week it faces an inelastic demand from adults and an elastic demand from children.

The monopolist can practice price discrimination but not perfect discrimination. Determine the equilibrium prices and quantities for adults and children. Explain your reasoning.
