Consider a thick spherical shell with total charge Q, inner radius R(i), and outer raduis R(o). Within the shell, charge is not distributed uniformly: the volume charge density p(r) is proportional to r^-2. Inside and outside the shell, there is nothing but air.

(1) What Gaussian surface would you use to find the electric field for R(i)<r<R(o)? Describe the surface and sketch the situation including your surface and the electric field vectors at various posiiton s along your surface.

(2) Using your surface, apply Gauss's Law to determine the electric field magnitude E(r) for R(i)<r<R(o).
