In a Hall effect experiment, a current of 2.5 Amp sent lengthwise through a conductor 0.9 centimeter wide, 4.5 centimeter long, and 9 μm thick produces transverse (across the width) Hall voltage of 8.6 μV when a magnetic field of 1.3 T is passed perpendicularly through the thickness of the conductor.

From these data, determine the drift velocity of the charge carriers.

Evaluate the number density of charge carriers. (m-3)
