Question: A mass of 2 kg is suspended from spring of stiffness 50 N/s and immersed in a liquid so that the equivalent viscous damping coefficient is 0.9 N.s/m.

Part A: If the mass is released from rest and has an initial displacement downwards 0.5 m, determine the displacement of the mass after 2 seconds.
