Problem

An infiltration gallery similar to Fig. is fed from a parallel stream located lo00 m away. Determine the discharge available in the 100-m-long gallery if the depth within the gallery is 1 m and the water level of the stream is 10 rn above the invert or bottom of the gallery. The soil has a coefficient of permeability of 27.1 m/day.
