A ship is heading off to Barnard's star at 0.700c. When it passed a space station(at rest with respect to the Earth) few days out from Earth, the ship fires a "photon torpedo" in the forward direction and another in the reverse direction. According to L. Nimoy who is on the bridge of the ship, the torpedoes have a speed relative to the ship of 0.70c. On a space time diagram, determine the direction and speed of each torpedo as seen by the station. Check the answers by using the relativistic addition of velocities formula.
