Determine the degeneracy g of the lowest 12 energy states for a particle in an infinite three-dimensional potential well whose dimensions are such that a=b=c. for each eigenstate, specify the number of nodes present as well as how many are in each coordinate. This problem illustrates the difficulty encountered in trying to find out the energy of the multidimensional system using a simple node count.
