Two equal-length springs have a stiffness ka=300N/m and kb=200N/m are nested together in order to form a shock absorber. If a 2kg. block is dropped from an at-rest position .6m above the top of the springs, determine their deformation when the block momentarily stops. Help on this problem would be greatly appreciated and please show all work.
