Catherine Eller, a 19-year old Air Force Academy cadet, was driving home for Thanksgiving when she collided with the rear of a car sitting on the shoulder of the interstate highway. Arthur and Mary Johnson, who were in the car, were killed. Miss Eller was driving at the speed of 80-100 mph and was talking on a cell phone when she hit the Johnsons' car. Colorado law prohibits use of cell phone while driving for motorists under the age of 18.
