For the system of Exercise 11-20, the compressor is required to provide air at 7W kPa gage to offset a 100 kPa pressure loss in the pipelines due to friction. In addition, the compressor is required to provide an additional 1.5 standard m3/min of air to compensate for air leakage from the pneumatic system into the atmosphere. What is the additional cost of electricity per year due to these two types of energy losses?
