a. The stoichiometric air-fuel ratio both on a mole and mass basis for C2 H5 OH (ethanol);

b. Actual A:F on mole and mass basis if 50% excess air is supplied; and c) if ethanol is an ideal gas what is A:F ratio based on volume?

2. Consider the combustion of natural gas (which is assumed to have the same properties as CH4 ). Determine (A:F) if the products contain 3% O2 (on a dry basis), and the composition on both a wet and dry basis.
