Nitrogen at 100C and 600 kPa expands in such a way that it can be approximated by a polytropic process with n = 1.2. Determine the change in the internal energy of the system per unit mass if the final pressure is 100 kPa. Calculate the work and the heat transfer per unit mass during the process. Assume quasi-equilibrium process.
