Question: A computer monitor accelerates electrons and directs them to the screen in order to create an image.

Part A: If the accelerating plates are 1.05 cm apart, and have a potential difference of 2.40×104 V, find the change in electric potential energy for an electron that moves from one accelerating plate to the other.
