Suppose we have a first-order low pass filter that is operating in sinusoidal steady-state conditions at a frequency of 5 kHz. Using an oscilloscope, we observe that the positive going zero crossing of the output is delayed by 30μs compared with that of the input. Determine the break frequency of the filter.
