In response to concerns about nutritional contents of fast foods, McDonald's has proclaimed that it will use the new cooking oil for its french fries which will decrease substantially trans fatty acid levels and increase amount of more beneficial polyunsaturated fat. Company claims 97 out of 100 people can't detect difference in taste between new and old oils. Suppose that is figure is correct (as a long run proportion), determine the approximate probability that in random sample of 1000 individuals who have purchased fries at McDonald's:

a) At least 40 can taste difference between two oils?
b) At most 5% can taste difference between two oils?
