Question: The purpose of the project is for you to provide a country analysis on a country of your choosing, then pick a US based company that is present in your chosen country and come up with a marketing plan for that company there.

For example: If I choose the UK as my country, I will provide a country sketch (hitting all the main points specified in the project outline) to give an overview of the current situation in that country. Then, I choose a US company such as Ford Motors, which is present in the UK. My next task is to provide an overview of the Ford Motor Company, outlining their corporate mission, vision, marketing strategies and product offering. Lastly, you will provide a brief marketing strategy and promotional message for the UK market and determine the appropriate market entry strategy for Ford Motors in the UK.

The paper should be as complete as possible but no less than 10 double spaced pages (not including title page and bibliography.

It is also critical that you cite all references.

Project Outline for International Marketing

The goal of this project is to assess your ability to synthesize the subject matter from the course and apply it to a real world situation. The Paper will be composed of three sections and each section will be presented both separately and as a complete whole. The Sections and what they should include are listed below.

Country Sketch: (25%)

Provide critical information regarding a foreign country:

• Culture

• Political

• Demographics

• Legal

• Religion

• Economics

• Technology

Do a brief description of a U.S. company and summarize their: (15%)

• Mission or strategic goal

• Product

• Marketing Strategies

Incorporate the two sections by diagnosing the appropriate method for your selected company to enter the selected country.

• Determine the appropriate marketing strategy and promotional messages for the target market (25%)

• Determine the appropriate market entry strategy. Focusing on political, legal and economic factors and distribution channel factors. (25%)

The paper should be as complete as possible but no less than 10 double spaced pages (not including title page and bibliography.

It is also critical that you cite all references. Not doing so is considered plagiarism and will render your paper unacceptable.
