A 5-lb force is applied to the center of the roller at A, causing the assembly to roll. If the roller has negligible mass, determine (a) the angle theta which the 6-lb. uniform rod makes with the vertical during the roll, and (b) the speed of the roller after it moves 4 ft., starting from rest. The roller rolls without slipping, and the rod hangs vertically (theta = 0) when the system is at rest.
