Initially, 1.361 kg of steam is contained in a piston-cylinder device at 260 degrees Celsius with a quality of 0.7. Heat is added at constant pressure until all of the liquid is vaporized. The steam then expands at constant temperature to a pressure of 2758 kPa, behaving essentially as an ideal gas.

a. Determine the work done BY the steam.

b. Determine the amount heat transferred to the steam during the entire process.

c. What is the amount of work produce in this process that might be useful for driving a car?

d. Why would assuming this to be an adiabatic solution be unrealistic?
