An open-tube mercury manometer is used to measure the pressure in an oxygen tank. The atmospheric pressure is 1020mbar .1 bar = 105 N/m2. The density of mercury is 13.6×103kg/m3.

Part A Determine the absolute pressure (in Pa) in the tank if the height of the mercury in the open tube is 21.5cm higher than the mercury in the tube connected to the tank.
