Question: Manufacturing and Product Development Although they are called leaf blowers, these hand-held machines are used to sweep patios, clean driveways, and even move light snow. Leaf blowers are often compared using weight, noise, and airspeed. Independent random samples of two types of leaf blowers were obtained, and the airspeed (in mph) was measured for each. The summary statistics and the known variances are given in the following table.
