Water is to be pumped from a dam to a storage tank 20 m above at a rate of 70 L/s. The electric power needed to achieve this is 20.4 kW. Neglecting the frictional losses in the pipes and the change in the K.E, determine overall efficiency of the pump-motor unit and the pressure difference between the inlet and the exit of the pump. Draw the process diagram.
