A section view of a dam shown and water is stored at an elevation of 6 m above the base. the water flows through the dam in a concreate opening 2m high and 3 m wide. there are no losses or friction. the channel remains constant at 3m wide for a long distance. downstream, you notice the water slows down dramatically and goes through an increase in elevation of 2 meters. find the following; Velocity and flowrate through the dam. The kinetic energy as teh water flows under the dam. this section is 2m x 3m. Determine the kinetic energy after the stream has slowed down, the final section is 4m high and 3m wide.
