1. Two converging lenses with focal lengths of f1 = 2.00 cm and f2 = 5.00 cm are situated 14.0 cm apart on a long optics bench. A 1.00 cm high object is placed 3.00 cm from the f1 lens and 17.0 cm from the f2 lens. Determine the following:

a) The position of the final image (How many centimeters from the object and in what direction from the object? A carefully drawn diagram may help here.)

b) The total magnification: mtotal

c) Is the final image erect or inverted?

d) Is the final image real or virtual?

e) What is the height of the final image?
