Question- For the following electrochemical cells, calculate the reduction potential and determine if the cell reaction is spontaneous as written at 25°C.

A) Cu(s) ?Cu2 (0.064 M) ??Fe2 (0.0083 M) ?Fe(s)

Eo Cu2+/Cu = 0.339V Eo Fe2+/Fe = -0.440V

i) find Ecell ii) spontaenous or not spontaenous

B) Pt(s)/Sn2+ (0.030M), Sn4+ (0.056M)//Fe2+ (0.0080M), Fe3+ (0.0115M)/Pt(s)

Eo Sn4+/Sn2+ = (0.154V) Eo Fe3+/Fe2+ = (0.771V)
