Question- There are 4 solutions.1 M HCl, .4M HCl, .1 M NaOH, .4M NaOH. The acid unknowns also contain phenolphthalein which turns pink in excess base. How could you identify each of these solutions without using PH paper or reagents? What happens when you mix controlled amounts of these with each other? Does the order of mixing matter? Create a prediction table to show what happens when solutions are mixed. What is maximum # of mixes needed to determine identities of four solutions? Minimum mixes?
